Taking the Rap

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

Sandy Berger just copped a plea.

Somewhere, out there, Susan MacDougal and Webster Hubbell probably just smiled, sheepishly, and nodded their heads.

Will “Hanoi John” Follow Suit?

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

“Hanoi Jane” Fonda finally has admitted she betrayed her country.

Alas, I seriously doubt the Junior Democrat Senator, from Massachusetts, will be the next one to step up to that particular plate.

Just a hunch.

Beyond Death

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

Terri Schiavo has finally escaped the control of her husband, and the Court which addresses this case in future has a Judge which cannot be bought, fooled, or ignored.

Note the category ‘Yahoo’ used for the story, to get an idea of how, even now, the Left is spinning the event.

So, if you’re Michael “Compassion” Shiavo, George Felon Felos, Judge “Err on the side of Death” Greer, or the others who cheered on the malignant forces of suffering, what do you do now, since you’ve done your murder just as you liked?

Why, you spin the defense so you can get away with it, of course. Note how the Death advocates are already saying the autopsy can’t prove that Michael lied. After all, what’s the use of murdering an inconvenient spouse, if the evidence comes back and hits you later?

Terri Is Gone

Thursday, March 31st, 2005

I have not read a blog or been able to post for almost a week now since I have been on vacation with my family, but have been following Terri’s story on the Florida local news and in the papers at night. I just saw that Terri has passed away without her family present. I was able to get internet access for long enough to post this (in the hotel lobby), but it will have to be brief. I find it almost impossible to believe that with the support of both Republicans and Democrats, with worldwide media attention and with access to both state and federal court systems, Terri’s family was not able to save their daughter. They were not allowed to give her food or water. They were not able to be with her when she died. I will post more thoughts on the entire ordeal when I am back home. I am still not quite able to process everything yet. It is almost too much to comprehend.

One brave soldier soon will receive the nation’s highest military honor, for his service, and sacrifice, in Iraq.

There are certain colors which never run.

To all the U.S. servicemen and servicewomen out there:

You make us proud.
